Stephan E. Evanitsky is a 32-year-old filmmaker, born and raised in Upstate New York. In January of 2002, Steve relocated to Burbank California and is now working as a freelance Director and Cinematographer. He has interned as a PA on DreamWorks' "Old School" as well as for both New Line Cinema (Development) and Fine Line Features (Acquisitions). Recently graduated from Ithaca College, Steve has spent the last ten years of his life honing his skills as a director / cinematographer while volunteering for two different New York State Fire Departments. During his tenure at school, all of Steve's films were nominated for or selected as "Best of Show - Ithaca College". Steve has worked as the Director of Photography for over fifteen short films in his career, ranging from science fiction to comedies, while developing his own short films. His experiences as a New York State Firefighter has crept into his films as well as prepared him for the role of a director.
