Book designer Alissa Dinallo began her career at world-renowned publishers Allen & Unwin and Penguin Random House. In 2015 and after five years working in-house, she decided to open her own studio with the intention of designing for publishers worldwide. That same year, she won the Australian Book Design Association Award for young designer of. the year (today, she is the vice president of the organization). Dinallo has designed for more than 200 titles. Three have been longlisted for 2018 Australian Book Design Awards.
