Ibrahim Mohamed Ibrahim Laag (born Ibrahim Laag, 01 January 1994), also known as Ibrahim Laag, He is Ethiopian-Somali in nationality and being the Executive - Director, writer, producer, Editor. of ATG. He is an independent documentary film producer/ researcher and director, his documentary films Defending our Lives, won the Academy Awards for being socially active member. Throughout his career he has combined his social activism with documentary film making and investigations. He began by producing a weekly public affairs program for television in Local, focusing on areas that are important to be publicly out spoken, so that the government and economically stable people, who can do something about it. He has also an effective leadership and organizational skills in which he handles all the work being done in the organization, be it is a research in a defined category or translating it into a movie. Being worked with Zamzam foundation as an operations director paved the way for me to learn more about managing projects and delivering them on tight deadlines. Than he Found his own Organization Called (Laag Foundation ) 'Livelihood Agriculture and Aqua Growth (LAAG) Laag Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Minnesota (USA) and frequently work in Ethiopia. LAAG developed and ran diverse programs that are vital to communities we serve. Our area of focus includes; Agriculture, Water, sanitation + hygiene, public health, education, women empowerment, and orphanage. Who we are We focus on the people that do not have access to basic and necessary human needs include People in poverty, and those whose voices are ignored. We help people fight for the rights that they are denied. In simple words, like the right to eat, right to an education, right to have a shelter, right to say in the decisions that shape their lives.'
