Abbie Moore After a decade in the entertainment industry, Abbie Moore left to pursue her dream of changing the world for animals. She spent a stint learning the ropes at an animal welfare organization before becoming employee #2 at Adopt-a-Pet.com, a then-fledgling non-profit website that allows people to view pets in animal shelters and rescue. organizations all over North America. Twelve years later, Adopt-a-Pet.com, with Abbie as Chief Product Officer, is one of the industry leaders (and the largest non-profit) in the pet acquisition space, with millions of unique visitors and over 270,000 adoptable pets on the platform. In 2017, Abbie and her team launched Rehome by Adopt-a-Pet.com and the Petco Foundation, a groundbreaking new product that facilitates peer-to-peer pet adoptions.. Abbie resides in Claremont, California with her husband, daughter, and two dogs. In her spare time, she loves to eat pie in bed while watching episodes of “The Office” on Netflix.
