Kick of Death (1997) written and directed by David Avallone was Jensen's break in terms of getting full credit for his composing. The film led to further collaboration. He and Avallone are working on a ground breaking live action internet series called "Since Noon Yesterday" about 40s pulp fiction hero Ed Noon, a private eye created by Avallone's father Michael. Now usually credited as 'Jensen Bell', Jensen has composed for, and performed on many pop music CDs in major release, including "Cutthroat Standards and Black Pop" (2001) by Abby Travis as well as singing and playing for artists such as Eliza Gilkyson, Tony Gilkyson, daughter and son of Disney composer Terry Gilkyson.
