Alfred Hansel

Alfred Hansel has studied biology at the Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen and obtained his PhD in microbiology in Freiburg.. After 2.5 years of research at the Uppsala university/Sweden he came to Jena and has expert experience in research and assay development. During his work in the gynaecological molecular biology lab of Prof.. Dürst he has identified the first putative DNA methylation markers, the detection of which are the basis for GynTect, the first diagnostic test to be developed by oncgnostics.
