Alexandros Tsilfidis

Alexandros Tsilfidis holds a PhD in Audio Signal Processing from the University of Patras, a Master's degree in Acoustics from the University of Marseille and an Electrical and Computer Engineering degree from the University of Patras. He is the author of more than 20 international scientific papers, while having participated in several. national and European RTD projects. His main fields of expertise are audio and speech signal processing, psychoacoustics, room acoustics, speech enhancement and recognition, audio and multimedia software development. From 2006 until 2011, he was the Information Systems manager at Mentor Training Inc. leading projects related with e-learning and lifelong education. From 2007 until 2011 he also worked at Westnet Inc. as a part-time software engineer/ developer. Since 2006, Alexandros has undertaken several assignments as a freelancer acoustics consultant, audio engineer and software developer. During his undergraduate years (2000-2005) he has worked as an electronic musician/ composer, mainly writing music for prime Greek theatre shows and films.
